Welcome to Soroptimist International of Kirkcaldy!
The Kirkcaldy club is a friendly group of women from a variety of occupations, who all share a desire to make a difference in our local community and in the wider world, through raising awareness, practical activities and fundraising.

We also value friendships we make through the club, and frequent social events give us the chance to have fun and let our hair down!
As soon as a new member joins the club she is assigned to a committee and is encouraged to play a full part in the life of the club. Members are also encouraged to attend Regional meetings, Study Days and Conferences.
Last year, 2011, a number of members travelled to Brighton for the annual Conference where they enjoyed listening to high-quality speakers, took part in the AGM, caught up with old friends and managed some serious shopping as well! As there are 27 countries in our Federation attending Conference, including Sierra Leone, Pakistan, Barbados and Nigeria they have a truly international flavour. At the same time as the Conference, a group of members went to Rome to meet up with our friendship link club for the Rome club's 50th Anniversary.
In 2011 the four-yearly Convention took place in Montreal in July, and some of our members attended. In 2012 the Conference is in Belfast and we have our usual large contingent planning to attend.
If you are interested in making new friends, giving service locally as well as
internationally, and joining in the life of a busy club, then perhaps SI Kirkcaldy is for you. To come to a meeting as a guest get in touch with us through the website.
